A web-application developer team structure is made up of various members from various fields, each with their own set of skills and responsibilities. The project is dependent on the team at every stage of production creation, from design and development to final delivery.

The following project has five key roles, including:

  1. Software developers: It is the responsibility of the software developers to use the technical requirements provided by the technical leads to create a cost estimate and a deadline estimate. They also create the final prototype of the product. Nonetheless, they write code and contribute to the evolution of software products. They are the primary project members who write codes to make the software work.
  2. UX designer: They are in charge of running a pilot test of the end product with user participants to analyse the user experience of the products, generate ideas to solve their problems, and finally test them with users. To be more specific, they must participate in all stages of the product’s design thinking process. They are also in charge of wireframing.
  3. Product developer: As a product developer, I am in charge of creating the final prototype of a product in order to determine who will code the application. To be more specific, at the end of the phase, the product developer categorises the prototyping process as Alpha, Beta, or Pilot. For example, I must support manufacturing and design activities by creating prototypes for products in the development stage. Furthermore, it enables user testing with valuable feedback from the product’s software developer.
  4. Digital marketer: A digital marketer is in charge of developing marketing strategies and plans, as well as spreading the word about a product in the market. To raise brand awareness and generate leads, they use various digital channels such as social media, Google ads, and so on. They are involved in social media marketing, e-mail marketing, and display advertising, as well as managing all digital marketing campaigns for products using web analytical tools to measure website traffic. They are also in charge of developing and implementing the SEO strategy. They make certain that the company’s website is easily accessible to its intended audience.
  5. A content marketing writer: They are in charge of creating written online content for marketing and advertisement, such as blogs, articles, white papers, copywriting, social media, ebooks, and so on, for the products, in order to build trust with readers while informing and engaging them. Furthermore, web application marketing requires a holistic and unique approach so that the target audience or readers (amateur pilots) fully understand the aspects and purpose of the product. The following application will be a one-of-a-kind concept, and as a content writer, he or she must understand every detail of the product. For example, the product design, software architecture, benefits, how it addresses customer pain points, and so on.
